WorkSpace: Office IoT Digital Twin
WorkSpace is a living 3D replica of a corporate headquarters, connected to thousands of IoT sensors. It gives Facility Managers “X-Ray Vision” into how their building is actually being used. From real-time desk occupancy to CO2 levels in meeting rooms, every metric is visualized in an intuitive Unity-based dashboard accessible via any web browser.
The Hybrid Office Problem
Post-pandemic, offices are unpredictable. Some days they are empty; other days, they are overcrowded. WorkSpace uses data visualization to help managers right-size their real estate portfolio, saving millions in wasted lease costs.
Challenge & Solution
The Challenge: Managing a 50-story skyscraper in the hybrid work era is a logistical nightmare. Managers relied on badge-swipe data, which doesn’t show where people go once they enter. They needed granular visibility to answer questions like: “Do we need more phone booths?” or “Is the 5th floor AC running when no one is there?”
The Solution: We engineered WorkSpace, an IoT-enabled Digital Twin.
Occupancy Tracking
The 3D model lights up with thermal gradients representing foot traffic. Managers can scrub through a timeline to see flow patterns—identifying that the cafeteria is overcrowded at 12:15 PM but the 4th-floor breakroom is empty.
